Removing foglights on '96 I-30t.
How do you remove the foglight on a 1996 I-30t? One of my foglights has water in it. I removed the plate under the bumper, but could only reach one side of the bracket. It had a big plastic nut on it. Is that the only thing holding it to the bracket? Do these things just pop out?
Also, I finally got the plug out of the manual transmission and was able to top off the fluid. Needed a 1/2" socket wrench and a metal pipe as a leverage extender. If you want to change the fluid, where should you drain it?

Remove the most left and most right light on the bumper next to the fog light by removing a screw that is easily seen with the bottom panals removed. When you look directly up, they are right there facing you near the cornering lamp.
After removing the screw, the corner lamp will pull off. If you haven't pulled it off before, it will take a little bit of force. Pull the corner lamps outward towards front of car.
After the corner lamps are off, you will see one screw holding the fog light in place.
There is no way to take off the fog light without taking off the cornering lamp.
