91 octane super unleaded or HIGHER.
If you want your car to last, and to get all the power it can possible produce, ALWAYS ALWAYS put PREMIUM gas in ur I30

Since I have a JWT ECU which advances my car's timing, I pretty much have to use premium every time. However, if you're short on cash or don't really care, I doubt you'll notice much of a difference if you just use regular...maybe just use plus to be safe.

always use premium for ur I30. for the extra .10-.15 per gallon that you'll have to spend it's worth it. don't put crap in ur car, it catches up with u overtime
