Best Looking Rims For Our Cars...

I just had to post it, but I think these are the best looking rims for our cars...only wish I had the money for them.

they aren't bad, but personally I like the more 'open' look where you can see the rotors(brembos x-drilled/slotted)/pads. Plus some people will not know it's not factory, I'd rather have aftermarkets. Don't get me wrong though I think it'd look nice. Do you have any shots of them on an I30?

The best I think would be the mesh BBS wheels with a nice big polished lip. I also like my 10 sopke style.
I don't think real sporty or aggressive wheels look good on an I30. Sublte is the way to go with our cars. IMO.

Same here. I have 99 Q45t wheels in 17x7.5 and I think they look great on my car. Subtle, yet classy.

my car

disregard the 4x4 look and crappy headlights, those have since been fixed. the rims are SSR GPO 18x7.5 and arent sold in the US. oh yea, its missing the center caps because the lugs were too tall. thats also been fixed. they weigh about 42 pounds with tires.

95maxrider looks nice. How's the smooth ride with the rims? And did you notice much difference between stock and H&Rs/AGX?

i love it man. too bad i only got to drive with it lowered for about 1 minute before i lost 1st and 2nd gear, which was over a month ago. i had the rims on for a while before that, and the tires gripped pretty well, but i do notice potholes and cracks more. i kinda forget now.....when these tires die, im gonna get bigger tires to help out with ride. i think the SFC's help out with ride a good amount.

What's an SFC? Bigger tires will throw the speedometer off.. I wonder if anyone has done this but recalibrated their speed somehow? Anyone know how to recalibrate your speed? Then we could go with some larger diams without worrying about cops pulling us over for speeding 70 when we're going 50 (at least the speedo says so):P

SFCs are sub frame connectors from warpspeed. they basically stiffen up the chassis.

Definitely nice looking rims, but those Michelin Pilot Sport tires are the bomb! I have a friend that put a set on his to replace the OEM Bridgestone tires and it grips like there's no lettin' go...

You can push it into a corner about as hard as you want to and the only downside is you're eating off those tires (which run about $180-190 vice $90-100 like the HR OEM jobbies).

Tirerack has them online, I've seen them elsewhere too - likely to move to them as mine wear out, but I've got quite a lot of tread left on my tires still.

They do look good - but do they affect your odometer and/or spedometer reading (seems they should), and are you able to make tighter turns? The 17" OEM tires limit the turn radius a bit...

Tire Depot, eh? Are they online? $1400C should be about $1000 US.

I like the BBS RX 18x8 at $569 I'm going to be waiting. If you've got $ spilling out your ears, look at HRE's wheels. www.hrewheels.com

I meant to post this here.

Woops, I meant to post this here not on a new thread.

I am in the same delimma. I have a 2002 I35 and I am looking to get some aftermarket wheels for my ride. Problem is, there are not to many luxury wheels on the market that provide class, style, and best of all subtleness. Here are some manufacturer websites you may want to look into if you are really looking at getting some Luxury Wheels for you car.
www.diabloracingwheels.com
www.dazzmotorsports.com
www.giovannawheels.com
www.mhtwheels.com
www.privatwheels.com
www.cecwheels.com
And here are some companies that sell them
www.streetdreams.org
www.discounttiredirect.com
www.discountwheelwarehouse.com
www.exclusivemotoring.com
www.cheaprims.com

Hope you have luck finding the right wheel for your car. (Trust me, its not an easy tasks when dealing with a luxury ride.)
Oh before I forget, here is the wheel I feel looks best on the I35's
http://www.maidowheels.com/wheels.asp
Thats right the Maido GR5.

hey guys, just a heads up. always ask what each rim weighs because all of these nice luxury rims you see out there most of them are HEAVY. if you're looking for 18" wheels, try and get something under 24lbs per wheel. this way you won't kill your gas mileage and slow down your I30/I35
