should get a spoiler or not?

Whats going on guys? I was thinking of adding a OEM after market spoiler to my '99 i30 limited. Question to those who do have a spoiler on their i30 '96-99. Are you satisfied? and should i get it?

Good question I was wondering the same thing, normally I detest spoilers but the I30's have a plane Jane looking rear so a spoiler helps give it some character.

Also got my spoiler from those same guys, but bought it off ebay, MUCH cheaper. You can see a pic of it here Their website listed it at $199 painted, I got mine for $135 painted on Ebay, and the paint matched perfectly, and it was fairly easy to install...

Paint job isn't the problem, i work with a body shop and i asked the owner how much would it be for me and he told me he will paint it for free and install it for free. So at this point it's just about getting a better price on the spoiler.
Btw, the red maxima looks HOT!!!

I personally don't really like the look of a big spoiler on my car. That's why I went with the one from http://www.paradox-systems.com I think it flows with the lines of the car and has a nice subtle look to it. Not to mention it was only $65 shipped! Good luck with whatever you choose!

I am thinking about purchasing the lip type spoiler from paradox. Does anyone have any idea of how much it should cost to paint it and how do you go about getting the paint?

$60 painted and installed for me. Just call some body shops. They should be familiar with a M3 or M5 style spoiler.

I purchased my OEM spoiler off of eBay and the paint matched perfectly. I have to tell you though that it's a pain in the butt to install if you're going to do it yourself! I say DO IT!
