97-99 I30 auto dim mirror keeps sliding down?

97-99 I30 auto dim mirror keeps sliding down?

anyone have the problem with the inside rear view mirror? mine seems to kinda creep down as I'm driving, the mechanism inside is loose, any ideas?

Just go get another one from junk yard. My maxima friend got one and is trying to install.

He might be selling it if he cannot figure out how to install it on a max.

what kind of solution is that buy another one haha, he bought this one for a reason, but n e ways. check the rear of the mirror for a screw to tighten that biatch up, in fact i'll go in the garage and check it out now :P

n e ways i just fixed the mirror, there is alittle plastic cover over the tightening screw in the middle of the mirror on the back, take it off and tighten it up, all done

Haha.. I said that because my friend got a good deal on the mirror. If you can get a good deal why not replace it.

That is the worst case scenario tho. Fix it if you can.
