What is this button for?

Hi

i just got my i35... and It didnt come with a owners manual... theres a button on the left side of the steering wheel... its located below the AIR vent on the left side.... the button has a picture of a seat with arrows... I'll try to get a picture of no one can understand what im talking about....

I think that may be memory settings for your seat, either that or heated seats. I think you hold it in for a few seconds and it records your seat position, so you can record multiple positions .. Perhaps .. let me know if i'm correct or incorrect

no, the seat memory is on the DOOR panel....
this is on the dash board but to the left of the steering wheel...
right blew the AIR vent...

heres a picture of the button.... its the button under the L/R **** for the side mirrors....

looks like a baby stroller .. maybe it's to deactivate the airbags in a collision if you have a baby on board?

thats a blurry picture... but it actually shows a NORMAL front seat of the car... and two arrows under the seat each pointing at opposite directions... one says AUTO and the other says CANCEL

It is the memory seat, in order to use this function it must be set to auto, if not cancel. You can find a I35 manual on Ebay, ive seen them from time to time. I have mine set on cancel cause I'm the only one who's ALLOWED to drive my I30

It's the auto seatback button. What happens is if you leave it in auto when you take your key out the seat will go back to make it easier to get out. Put the key back in and the seat will move foward to the original position.

You will only notice this feature if your seat is normally adjusted to anything but all the way back. since I have the seat ll the way back anyway, it doesn't move.
