taking the panel off of a 96 i30
Take The inside Door Panel off/ Installing speakers
Ok well i edited the thread, i need to know how to take the door panels off, the front ones that is, without breaking anything, and anytips i should look for. Next step is, im planning to put an alpine Type R sound system in, basically replacing the current bose headunit front door speakers tweeters and the
6 x 9's. I want to replace them with this:
Replacements for the front Speakers and Tweeters
Replacements for the 6x9's
now this covers the system thats there. I want to add speakers to the rear doors. Has anoyone done this? is it hard? i mean besides running a few new wires, things like that, i havent done anything like this so help is appreciated.
now would i use these for the rear speakers?:
The ones i think are good for the rear speakers but im not sure, they are the right size though
This is the Headunit im thinking about buying
Currently i have 2 old rf subs and a jl e2150 amp hooked up. I was thinking that i could use the jl amp to power the 6x9's and have the other 4 speakers hooked up to the headunit.
Im also going to eventually purchase a set of 12" Alpine Type R Subwoofers to two Rockfordfosgate 301m mono amps.
Then again this all may not happen for a while, but in the meantime it sound good
thanx in advance

I have never taken off the door panel from an A32 but if nobody else has an answer here are some tips.
Look for any plastic caps that look like they might be covering a screw... They probably are. On the A33 there is one in the door handle and I think another on the part of the door that is hidden by the dash when the door is shut.
Try to pop off things like door handle surrounds with a screw driver.
After you think you have removed all of the screws, use a thin object like a screw driver to wedge between the door and the pannel. Get your fingers under the door panel and where you feel the most pressure is there the clips are located. You want to pull out as close to the clips as possible so you dont break them.
After you think you have all the clips popped out lift the door panel upwards because it is cliped along the window.
I hope this helps some!

As is the case for most things with our cars, the procedure is exactly the same as a Maxima. See if you can find instructions on how to install new speakers on the web. I've seen a good write up with pictures before. You have to remove the plastic ring around the door handle (probably the most difficult part) and then pry the door loose.
