Me vs. my brothers s13 sr20det, FMIC, 3" down pipe back, stock T25 @ 1 bar.

My 60' on this run was a 2.366 and I ran real slow the whole day. This is not a post to show I fast I was, I just thought you guys might enjoy it.

Well, compared to last time I was at the track I ran 14.2's all day. I was disapointed to say the least. I never ran better than a 14.7 all day.

 

The org community has come a long way, remember those days when 14.8 would have been a great time with the plans you have I am sure you will see 13s this year.

 

Any ideas as to why your times were so bad? Weather? Traction?

I think it was a few factors. The weather was 20 degrees warmer from when I pulled my 14.1 and I could not get traction for $hit. I was pulling two tenths higher 60 foots then normal. I tried my low rpm launch and just bogged really bad, then tired a higher rpm launch and spun all the way through first. That track is also a 1000 feet higher then my local one. I will be out at my local track where I pull my best times on april 17th so we will see how good I do then. I may even have slicks by then too.

...but I sooooo want a SR swapped 240. Black on black 95 S14 SE 5 spd with blacktop motor...mmm.

I'm jealous of your brother's car. Hopefully my SR dreams will be realized one day. Preferably in a s14, though an s13 would suit my needs just as well.

Thats hella tight. I would so love to scoop up a 240 but I have to wait and get my dream car... NSX supercharged and on slicks. I am planning to buy one within the next year or two.
