I need to get my front plate on before a cop decides to hassle me for its absence, but I don't have the mounting bracket. I went to the dealership and they're wanting $45 for this little piece of plastic. As usual, that seems quite excessive. I'm not talking about a frame here, but the actual formed, black, plastic bracket that mounts to the front bumper.

I gave eBay a try, to no avail. Any suggestions on where else I can find one of these at a realistic price?

I sold mine about 6 months ago on this board for about $25.

 

The for sale forums are your best bet, maybe a salvage yard. I needed one and ended up paying the $45 at the dealership because I need one quick. I kept getting pulled over by cops because of it.

Im not positive but cant you get around that gay little law by just putting your plate on your dash in your windsheild?? of course its probably easier to just pay the 45 bucks and mount the bastard.
