g35 rims on an i30 (1997)

i've been a long time reader and wanted to say thanks to all the members who have helped me in my endevors first of all.

while cleaning and waxing the car today, i was also cleaning my oem rims (the ones with 25 spokes on each rim), and came to the conclusion after cleaning 100 spokes that it's a real pain in the ***. the g35 rims look mighty nice, and i believe they are 17x7 rims with 235/45-17 being the recommended sized tires.

would these work on my year's i30?
do i have to worry about the offset or will they fit perfectly?
how much am i expecting to pay for the rims alone?
i've read the g35 rims are staggered for the 17s, is this true?

thanks in advance for any help. i've changed my spark plugs out today (from, very possibly the original ones after 104775mi) to ngk coppers with no problems thanks to the instruction from these forums.

The G35 rims will fir without problems. The best place to find them in on eBay. Every once in a while you will see a set on there for sale.

what about the 18" sport rims? is there a difference from the 17" rims or it's just the size (staggered?)

I'm pretty sure the 18s will fit but the rears are wider than the fronts with those. I think that works a lot better with a coupe as opposed to our cars.

I believe the 18's only come on the coupe and they are 18x8 30mm offset. Those rims will stick out the sides and may cause rubbing issues.
