I am interested in buying a I30 but, I had a couple questions before I do so.

I know the how the maxima body styles and horse power is different from a 2000 and 2003 . My question is what is the difference between the 2000 and the 2001 I30? what is the horsepower? and what about the 2002-2003 I35? the body looks the same and all what is the change that they made on it?

 

The I30 basically followed the same path as the maxima.

 

I'm pretty sure that the 00 & 01 are the same. At least no major changes. Same with the 02 & 03. Obviously the big difference is that the 00 & 01 have the 3.0 VQ (200 hp) and the 02 & 03 have the 3.5 VQ (240 hp). I don't really know too much about the 00-01 but I know the 02-03 I35s had really nice leather compared to my 98 and had a nice woodgrain steering wheel and shifter.

 

2k-2k1=227hp
2k2-2k4=260hp
differences: leather, steering wheel, rims, trunk, HID's, grill,stereo,center dash panel, tranny shifter and possible tranny too(no od button on 2k2+ 1,2,3,d instead.)dimmer clock on 2k2+ im probably forgetting something if i remmeber ill post it. hope this helps. GET I35 by the way IMO they are just more comfy than that I30's and they are newer. just dont get the navi becasue it is CD based and thats out of date, and expensive to update.

 

The tail is a bit different on the 2k2+ and also the grille.
