12000K HELLA HID for my 2001 I30

I just wanted to make sure that I am buying the correct bulb for my 12000K HELLA HID .. I was told my 2001 I30 needs the 9006 is this rite?

Are you buying a retrofit for your halogens, or do you have the factory HID? If you have the halogens then you are correct about the 9006 bulb.

If you do get the 12000k bulbs, see if you can get a god pic of the color (I know it can be pretty difficult to get an accurate representation)

i do not have factory hid.. so I think I need the 9004?

no you need the 9006 low and 9005 high if you want them.

HID Highs are kind of a stupid idea, especially if you ever want to just flash your brights. HIDs dont do well when turned on and off quickly. It would probably be better to just get HID matching halogens if you really want the color.
