Center Console problem

Hi guy just go a new 2k I30 and wanted to now some thing why in the console area where the center vents are with the blinker switch so easily sratched whenever the darn A/C unit runs for a while it almost seem that the area gets saturated...

A) Is this replaceable with a strong piece?
B) Is this the sign of a problem with the A/C?
C) Is this just normal and I just have to be careful of touching it?

Thanks in advance. Oh BTW how often does one usually have to do repairs (what breaks first?) Still loving the ride through, thatz coming from a previous MAXIMA owner....

TIA :-)

Just stay OH now wi jammin (I what to jamm it with you) wi jammin

What are you talking about? Can you explain it a bit better?

Whenever the A/C unit is running long the center vent area (the place in the center where there are two vents with the emergency blinker switch in the middle) the plastic casing that holds it together gets soft and sratchable (easily)... I just what to know if this is a result of a underlying problem or just a quirk of the I30 models...

Just think about where the a/c vent are located in front of you and your will get what I'm talking about ... TIA

That has got to be the oddest and rarest thing I have ever heard of in my life.

Seriously. I've never heard of this before. You think it would get hard and brittle with cold air. Are you sure there's no moisture blowing through the system? Still not sure that would cause it though...
