DAMN ROAD PAVING now noise comming from front brake area HELP!

Alright, well they are paving every road in the area I live and causing a bunch of headaches! So I am driving along last night and listening to the stones clang cling all over the bottom of my car when I hear this horrible screetching noise comming from my front right brake area! WTF is that!

I hopped out and with a flashlight, checked the brakes and saw nothing. I kept driving and listening to this noise getting more and more ****ed by the second.

QUESTION: Can anyone tell me how to get the damn stone out of wherever it is? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

THIS NOISE MUST STOP!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

1. Check to see if you've worn through your brake pad far enough that the metal "wear" tab is starting to signal that you need new pads. The wear tab will hit your rotors and make noise.

2. See if your brake parts are loose. There are two smaller bolts (14mm?) and two larger bolts (18mm?) make sure these are tight.

Thanks for the info. I just had the brakes checked and all are good. Everything is tight as well.

Knowing this, I am 99.9% sure it is a rock or something stuck somewhere around the front right brakes. UGH!!!!!

I HATE BRAKE NOISE!!!

Thanks again!

Are you getting any grooving on your rotor? That might be a good sign that there is something stuck around your pads.
