Just got my New I30

Just picked up a 2000 I30 with navigation. What a great car so far. I am only ****ed that my wife will be driving it. I will be stuck with the RSX. The NAV system is great little extra to have (I kinda like playing cds on the nav). The dealer even put 4 new tires on the car. I shopped every car in its class and nothing gives such a balance of comfort, size, looks, sport, and reliability. My only question is how do I tell if the car is a i30t. Im not sure if 2000's have the T. The reason I ask is that I have driven an i30 and an i30t (2001) and the T drives much tighter. The car I bought drives like a T and has the spoiler and slight ground effects but standard alloys. The only other thing I can think of is that the previous owner replaced the struts with tighter ones.

Could be, or it could be that the T badge fell off.

Did you carfax it?

The dealer did but I didn't look at the name part. Just looked at the history.

Hey what version is your nav cd. I have 2 2003 5.3 version region 8 cds if you want the newest version. I paid 120 for it for my QX4 but my recently purchased I35 already came with the exact 5.3 version. I'll let it go for about 30 if your interested.

I think I have 5.2, I will check it when I go home tonight and let you know. I was just about to ask about getting updated CDs off ebay etc.
Thanks!

The T's came stock with the 17" 5 spoke wheels and HID (Nice black housings). If you have these, you probably have the "T".

I know that some of the "luxury" models came with the spoiler.

No problem, the Navigation cd has never been opened either. It still has the plastic wrapping around it in the case with the Gold color FX45 on the case. Let me know, it's just lying around collecting dust.

It's a nav cd version 5.3. No dvd for the I35s. I don't know how often they update them, I called Zenron and they said they will let us know when the newest one comes out. So far I heard no new news as of yet.
