Does anyone no whether 1996 Q45 Leather Seats fit in a 97 i30?

 

ohhh, that would be a tight fit. I have never heard of anyone doing it. I don't think your gonna get a for sure anwser on this question. You can try and let us know though.

With enough effort they may fit. I looked into swapping the seats from a 94/95/96 Q45(can't remember the exact year) into my 95 max. Took some measurments and the front seats will fit, but the tracks are what messes the whole game up. It looked like such a head ache that i didn't go any further once i say the trouble in swapping out that heavy *** seat onto a custom frame.
In my opinion the 02-03 maxima seats are much more comfortable. Plus they will be nearly a drop in affair.

 

Anyone know if a J30 seat would work? They are real nice seats too, and closer than the Q45 in size I would think. Just another idea to think about. I don't think the tan leather from 02-03 is the same color, or grey,or black, or just about any color leather or cloth.

 

Yeah, that is what sucks about the tan interior. Not alot of options really match very well. I've even looked at racing seats but red and black really won't go with the look of my car. I'd really like something closer to a bucket but can't find anything. Any suggestions?

 

J30 I think would be the best bet, easy to hook up and leather would match perfect, just go with same year(s). But fitting the seat, like the G35 seat conversion, you might have to use the I30 seat pan and J30 cushions. Thats only if J30 brackets will not fit right on floor.
