Brake Safety question

ok now i have a question and i have a request. Now when i drive with my OD on my brake pressure varies from some odd reason. when i start driving the pressure is very low but builds as i begin to drive. the faster i go the more pressure builds, the slower the less pressure. When i drive with OD off i have a constant strong pressure for the most part i think atleast, but there is a noticable chnage between each.

now have any of you come in contact with this. if you havent or dont know i just ask that you test so i can compare. preferable my year car. I appreciate it.

You're tranny and brakes are not linked at all. What you are feeling is the effects of being in a lower gear (3rd, OD off) instead a higher gear (4th, OD on). The lower gear in the tranny is slowing you down more quickly than the higher gear. However, it also pulls harder when you give it gas in the lower gear, and this is what you are experiancing. It has nothing to do with the brake system. You will encounter this with any car.

you are probably feeling the effects of "engine braking" with OD off.

regardless, you need to get your brakes checked.
