remove the spare?
My buddy with a 97 Maxima SE took his out more for weight reducation than for his subs, though I don't think he would have been able to get to the spare because of the enclosure anyway. It was kind of funny because his mom would make him take an extra tire (with no wheel) and put it in the backseat for road trips, I guess he figured AAA could mount it or something, I don't know.
That being said, I have my spare in my car even though my enclosure partially covers the spare tire well. I'm confident I could take the enclosure out if it was truly necessary.

If you are absolutely set on taking out the spare, be sure to at least have a can of flat fix or a even better a tire repair kit (and know how to use it) and a portable electronic air pump. Your chances of blowing a tire are rare, but if you do just call a friend. You should always have a spare in the trunk if you plan on going long distance.
Depending on how you build it, you can have it setup pretty nicely and still have access to the spare:

I knew a guy that had an Integra that had his sub box built in 2 pieces and had accuators that would lift and move the boxes so he could access the spare. Of course he dumped $$$ into the setup and being able to access the spare actually impressed the judges and he won a couple of shows for that over ppl that could not access, or did not have a spare.
well what i wanna do is what meta did with the fitted enclosure, but im also trying to gett he smallest box possible. i have two type r's and their reccomended best size box is .85 CF. so i have a hatchbackdesign to fit snug to the backseat, BUT, meta i want the diims you used for the front fitted piece, also i need a place for my amp.
My dimensions from my A33 won't do you any good on your A32.
For that matter, I don't have them on hand anyway. I actually have enough room behind my box that I mounted my two amps on the backs of the backseats. Makes it easy to access them with the fold-down seats as well.
