where would i get this and how much???i dont want a five speed conv cause...altho i like stickshift...sometimes i feel lazy...this way i can have my cake and eat it too!if thats how the saying goes..

i saw it on American Hot Rod they decided to make an automoatic car and use a small computer so they could have tiptronic.. but for a 17 year old.. sorry its gonna cost you around 2000$ from what i imagin. so i would just stick to gate shifting.. do the drop resistor mod and itll shift just as fast!!

ahh...drop resistor mod puts the annoying lil orange lite on tho...if it wasnt for that..i'll do it in a heartbeat...2,000???are u serious???it ddnt look that expensive when i saw it on the website that sold it...

Are you guys serious? That would be an undertaking like no other. I know it is fun to play what if, but unless you have the ability or the money to do something like this please don't start these types of threads

There WAS a kit that used the cruise control buttons to shift, but there wasn't too much interest on here and they weren't mass-produced. You might be able to find a used one for sale but there weren't many made at all if I remember correctly. I think it was ~$500-600, I could be off though.

gate shifting. is moving your shifter from first to second.. and second to overdrive and overdrive to drive. (shift to drive and press overdrive at same time then to shift to fourth press the overdrive button again) really simple. your just moving your shifter though its gates
