What are you paying for insurance?

Just got comprehensice insurance for my 2K I30T. It is $518/ 6 months. My '05 Expedition is $468/ 6 months. $200 deductable on both.

I was expecting a lower rate for this 5 year old car. What you you paying?

Maybe because the Expedition is an American car, that's why it's cheaper.

They said its because infinity parts are expensive. But still, it's booked at 18K compared to the 40K Expedition. Don't make too much sense to me.

I pay $250 a month, it is awful. It comes from a combination of someone cutting me off sending me into a curb last winter, and being a young driver.

I had a ticket way back in 2002 and the record is neat, yet i'm still paying $620 half-yearly.

I30T Mike D,

Will you share what mods you have done to your car so far? I am quite curious.

I WAS paying $399 a month, but now i'm paying $299 a month. guess thats because i live in NJ. oh BTW. did i mention? I DONT HAVE FULL COVERAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! just the liability pretty much mxxed

Paying $1306 with full coverage, 450 deductible, and 2 million liability per year. This is the best rate up where I live.

$850/yr w/$500 deductible and full coverage. Should be less, but they rated me up due to owning a motorcycle. Still cheap compared to my old Camaro. That damn thing was almost $1400/yr and the I30 is still faster. he he he

$373/6 months, $250 deductible. But then, I have my wife's 1990 Acura insured for $25/month(just liability) and also have a home policy through them. So, I get couple of different discounts.

I just wanted to get a heads up on how much i'll be looking to pay. i mean i get a general idea of 600-900$ for 6 months but since most of you guys didn't state a age.

How much should it be for a 98 I30 full coverage w/e deductible on a 19 year old driver with a clean driving record.
