Reverse Indiglo Gauges....

Hey what's up guys, I'm new on this board just been reading alot on Maximas and I30s...my question is, where can I go other than Ebay to order Reverse Indiglo Gauges? I'm highly interested in em, or maybe even do the LED mod instead. Can anyone point me to a source?

illmortal: I personally had the regular indiglo guages for a few years and loved them. I recently sold them to an org member and replaced my guages with white faced Maxima SE guages. I then did the LED conversion on the guages which came out awsome!

I recommend buying LED replacement bulbs in whatever color you like and doing that mod first. (cheap and simple) Then, later if you get tired of them or you don't like them, you can do the reverse indiglo guages.

Just my opinion.

Or you can try here for them:

http://www.speedstash.com/indiglo.html
NISSAN MAXIMA 95-98 REVERSE WHITE GAUGES $79.00 ON SALE: $29.99

OR

http://www.procarparts.com/store-lis...XIMA&year=1997

Enjoy!

Ohh... yeah that's what I saw, someone had "stock" white gauges and did that LED mod... do you know where I can get them? You claim that it's a cheap mod... I wouldn't mind saving money

Yeah, I got mine from http://www.superbrightleds.com

Now keep in mind that I have the 96 I30 and i beloieve the 96 to 97 use 198 bulbs behind the guages and in the automatic gears.

I personally put blue in. I first tried the white hoping for bright white guages, but I will tell yolu they were purple! it's true! MaxMutes figured out a way for them to be white if you want to ask him.

Hope this helped.

One last question, I just noticed that the Maxima's needles only have 1 coat of red-orange paint on their needles (on the bottom/underside of the needles) and my Infiniti I30 has 2 coats of white paint (1 coat on bottom and 1 coat on top of needles) All I need to do is just sand both parts of the needles correct? there's like no paint in between the plastic of the needles right? I want my needles to glow bright blue.

Thanks again,
illmortal

Yeah, there is not paint in between the needles. Just sand the paint off the top, but not the bottom. That should work.

Actually, try the bulbs without sanding FIRST! Then if they don't look good, try sanding them

Let me know what happens.

sweet, actually I have a digital camera (crappy $60 one) but i'll take pics without sanding the needles, and see if I like them or not.
