Thanks bro, well I like those options for start. ECU for sure and suspension, I have a pop charger at the moment, and Y-pipe is going to be ordered in 4 days or so..

Suspension:
Lowering springs
Strut mounts for further travel
KYBs GR2s (they were sweet on my corolla)
Front lower tie rod
Front tower strut bar
Rear Sway bar
Anyways I see my options, and that's better than searching all over the net for prices that are just too good to be true.

Quote: based on my knowledge of you so far and the money you have this is what I recomend

First, your not gonna get 250whp with what you an afford....your probably not even gonna get 200whp

This is what you need to do. It is not exciting or innovative but you don't have the know how or money to do something like that.

Ebay intake with a decent filter
Budget y-pipe
TS ECU
Used H&R springs and some new KYB Gr-2's

This will cost you around $1000 in parts. Install is gonna be extra, but you should be able to do the ECU, intake yourself. You will have about 185 whp and maybe run a 14.8-14.9. That is what you get for $1000. I have shoped smart for my turbo project and was lucky to get the exhaust and intercooler piping used, and I have still spent $3500 so far. Still got another $400 to spend and I will have a little less than 300whp. It will cost me another $1000 to safely go beyond that.
oh why must our cars be so difficult?!!

I mean no disrespect but uhm.. maybe just maybe if some of us had the search option we'd be able to research and learn more through this forum, sorry I sound like a noob but most of us wouldn't ask stupid questions if the search option was available. Well sorry again and again I mean no disrespect just wanted to throw in my .02 cents since I feel a bit bashed.

Right now the search is available only to donating members. Perhaps that will change, but that is the way things are right now.

I am sure that nobody here felt disrespected buy your ideas about mods, and feeling bashed on is something that is inevitable. All of us were "noobs" at some point or another, and we got bashed on by others with more knowledge. It is just part of the learning process. I think a more appropriate way of opening up a discussion on basic mods for $1000 would be to simply ask what others reccommend for modifications. That way you can get an idea of what is the best possible route of action, instead of developing some impossible tangent in your mind and attempting to adhere to it.

Why spend $20 to donate to get search? You are willing to spend a $1,000 but not willing to spend $20 that will save you 10x that amount?
