Hey everyone, I finally got my cardomain page up and running!

For anyone who is interested, please take a look at it and let me know your thoughts on my car. Please keep in mind that I just got it up and running, so it is still a work in progress, but I have a few pictures up.

I just want to thank everyone who helped me get this cardomain thing to finally work, especially Jepht20. Thanks for your help.

Nice page Doc! Now everyone can see your great custom tails. I can't wait to see the rest of your pics. Oh, and GOD I love the Bumper Mesh Mod....I think I still got your write up...I need to try to attempt it this spring...hopefully I will do as good a job.

Something I've always been curious about though - are those LED mirrors' lights visible from the side? I.e. a car a couple lanes over, parallel to you on the interstate...can they see the LEDs on the mirror indicating your intent to change lanes? (since the idiots never seem to notice the regular turn signals..another story)

 

MetaOrbit: Yes, I believ you can see them from the side. They wrap around the mirror almost to the edge. I have some more pictures of all angles and will post them on the domain site tomorrow for you.

I guess if you wanted to make sure people saw you, you could always put the LED lights on the mirror as well? of course, you could put a gigantic neon sign the size of a billboardon top of your car and SOME drivers out there will still not see you! LOL.

Very nice I you got there Dr.Monkey.... I must say I like the mirror covers. Also, you should post a how to for the mirror with the compass. I'm sure everyone would have them if it is easy. Overall... Awesome!!!

I have cefiros, clear tails, indiglo w/ red needles.
You should get a y-pipe and a intake, just a thought ( easy mods, lots of power for the $$$)

Alright, a y-pipe is the pipe that goes from your headers to the back of your car. If you get an aftermarket one, you will realease around 20 hp ( you can get one from http://www.budgetexhaust.com/ / they arer canadian, but they have a decent product j/k) Lots of people in the org have them $170 aprox)

-Intake, go to ebay, look for the boomz intake for maximas. $50. you get like 3-5hp with the pipe.
GET A NEW CONE FILTER like K/n, apexi. Because the Boomz filter sucks.$30

so, for around 250 you get around 20-30hp. Best bang for the buck for our I30s. Also, you get a nice growl after 3K rpm, it's not loud.

97I30touring: Yeah, I used transparent red model paint and then went over that with a clear paint sealer to help protect it. I like how it turned out. The key work in the above sentence is transparent. lol

Doc your page looks even better than yesterday. It's setup nicely for real. It's nicely aligned and detailed with the info next to the CORRECT corresponding picture(s). Once again, great job.

Also, my Euros should be here tomorrow according to Tracking Hey the Mirror came out good, you just put the stock mirror housing clip thing-y back on the ceiling? Why'd you want to switch the AC Controls lol...crazy man!! I woulda thought it would have worked tho.

 

You got a nice looking I30. I like to compass in the mirror. Where did you get that from, and is it an auto-dim mirror as well? Someone told me that the auto-dim mirrors turn greenish when you turn it on. Is this one the same way?

To correct Luigi- A Y pipe doesn't run from the headers to the back of the car, it goes from the headers to the main catalytic converter and gives about 15 whp. I wouldn't spend any money on an intake since the most they will do is give you some nice noise. None have been proven to give HP, in fact some rob you of HP.
