Help guys, im in the middle of installing my cefiro headlights, and dont know which wire goes with which on the new H4 harness? anybody can help?

my headlights are off right now and i need to go to work in a few hours...

 

Hey, I think I can help you, on my I30 (should be the same on most) on the left hand side Green/Yellow = low, Yellow = hi, Black = Ground (duh) on the other side Blue/Black = low, Light Green/Black = hi, and well... guess what Black is... now, on the new H4 socket, if you're looking at the wires coming out the back, here's the diagram, sorry in advance for crappy ascii art.

Hope that sort of makes sense? didn't know how else to illustrate it.

 

that diagram is good, makes perfect sense,
however, on my car the wires on the left are yellow, pink, and green, and on the right they are blue, orange, and green, i put it together now with the green as a ground, but then, no matter how i set my other two wires, one side has high beam, and the other has low, i'll get everything working properly tomorow morning when i wont be hurried. thanks for the info

 

Yeah... those 99's always had to be different...

 

listen, just match the stock harness wires up to the H4 harness

just follow the order in which the wires are in - - - stock wires

so line them up like that, having the middle wire on the stock harness on the top connection of the H4

 

ok, i did it all properly yesterday, its looking great, thanks for your help guys, i should have pics soon
