My new toy: Tazzo Performance Computer

Since I don't have access to a dyno or a track, I did the next best thing: I bought myself a little piece of hardware called the Tazzo Vehicle Performance Computer:

No, it's not a radar detector, but it can detect a few things like:

0 - 60 ft times:

0 - 60 mph: {picture not shown}

1/8 mile times and top speed: {picture not shown}

1/4 mile times and top speed: {picture not shown}

Windowed horsepower:

60mph - 0 stopping distance:

Acceleration (in g's)

For the acceleration test, if you mount it sideways, you can measure g's when doing turns.

Quite a handy, little tool to test out your latest pedrformance mods. It evens has a calibration mode where you can adjust its output to match whaever you actually run at the track.

No, the Tazzo is not on eBay, nor has it ever been.

And, no, it is not the same thing as the G-tech, despite the apparent similarities in appearance.

Y'mean, besides guns and drugs?

Oops...wrong question.

All I have done, so far, is the 60ft test and the windowed horsepower test between 30mph and 45mph. It's hard finding a straight, level, and paved road without any traffic on it to do the others.

I may have to go out like at 5am one morning, and run it on an isolated stretch of highway. Or, I could pretend to be one of those idiot drivers who stops at the top of a highway entrance ramp and waits for the road to clear.

It would also help if I had a bulldog to let me know if there are any bears in the woods. (that's CB speak).

But, I digress.

My best 60ft. time was 2.29, and the WHP was 159 with an elasped time of 2.18.

I have no clue if that is good or bad.
