i like the second one...but the first one just blows...it would look good without that lip...that just over exaggerates everything.

Why would you want your car to look like a box with a red "x" in it? Cant seem to see the pics. Fix the links please.

 

both of them are original but ugly as hell. i would rather rock stock than either one of those.

 

Definately not my style, but sombody sure put some work in on it.

 

The rear on the first one is not bad....BUT why do so many Maxima owners put GT-R badges on their cars? It's not a Skyline!

 

Looks like a slimmer rear deck brake light on the first one (which would be nice). The spoiler looks decent too. But I agree, the body kit is too much.
I like the body color grill and turn signal mirrors of the 2nd one. Are those like the motorized ones you (SyCefiro) were selling recently?

 

i would be interested in knowing how the skyline tails were done. they are the only thing that doesnt make me want to vomit on that car.

Nah, they are not the one's I've brought in.
The 1st car GTR conversion, he just put on some aftermarket M3 style mirrors.
The 2nd car TRD conversoin, he just put on the LED Mirror covers

 

I'm gonna have to agree with most of you. That first body kit was the sux0r fo' sho! The break lights look like Impala's.

 

looks kinda ricy but if the second ones grill was black instead of silver it would look hotter. BUtt maddd props for goin all out like that

 

SYCEFIRO: Quick question about the mirrors comment you made a few posts up. I have the LED mirror covers and I love them! BUT, I have always wondered if I could purchase the aftermarket mirrors (like the LED M3 style mirrors) that you always see for the hondas or Acuras and put them on the 96 I30? I mean, I am not concerned about the screw patern that holds the mirror onto the door, but would the triangle plate that connects to the door fit on the door?

Just curious. If you can answer this for me, I would really appreciate it.

From what I know, there are people on our forum being able to fabricate or use some creativity to adapt (Honday or Acura or some other model car's M3 style mirrors) onto the Maxima/ I30. If you want something that's perfect fit, then I can look into it. I know there are some available on the market in Asia already.

SYCEFIRO: Thanks for the info. I have always wanted to purchase a pair of those aftermarket side mirrors and just see how they fit with our I30's, but I just havent done so yet.

If you could please look into some that are a perfect fit and let me know price and what my options are, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for all your help.

 

The headlights on the skyline retro look decent. Everything else is garbage in my opinion.

 

Take off dat GTR badge, and shave the front lip a lil bit it wouldn't look too bad, althought i couldnt' envision doing either to my ride, wut u do with your car is your buziness

They are both struggling but If I had to choose I'd pick the first one and get some better wheels.
