The driver seat on my 2000 I30t has stopped the forward/rearward movement. Other adjustments such as tilt and rake work okay, but not forward or rearward. When I actuate the switch for that adjustment, it just makes a "click". I've looked under the seat for something maybe causing a block to the mechanism, but nothing seems to be there. I'm hoping this is something I can remedy myself, so if anyone has experience with this sort of thing or can discuss the seat removal process, I'd be grateful to hear about it.

There is a TSB# for that problem. The day I bought my 2004 I35 and drove it 5 miles off the lot, my seat stop working and I could not move it backwards and the recline feature also had stopped. Trying to mess with the buttons further, I put my seat into a very uncomfortable position and I had to return the car. There is a TSB# for the fix. I saw the actual write up on the infinithelp page on infinitiowners.com i think. Or you can go to www.infinti.com then go to the help or owners section i think.

Wow! That's great! Thanks for that. Now I'll go to the stealership and see if this TSB will do me any good or if they'll shank me for a load of cash to fix it.

Yea I have this same issue. I like pulling my seat all the way back...when I do sometimes the mechanism locks and doesnt pull forward unless I smack the back of my seat. It doesn't bother me too much for now, but in the long run I might have to fix this too.
