What is the best way to mount a double din stereo? Everyone in the other forums talks about the GXE kit for maximas, but I didn't know if that'd work here. Need advice!!

GXE kit won't work. Look at the clock and compare the dashes between the Maxima and the I.

Additionally, the I has a wider dash opening than the Max.

You need the dash kit like I have, from a Taiwanese Nissan Cefiro. PM SyCefiro. He should be able to help you out.

WHOA!!! I was considering buying a new radio for my I30 but I figured that nothing would look quite right due to the way that the dash is set up. But THIS is a thing of beauty. Plus I am a HUGE Kenwood fan to boot. You just made my day.

Wow John! I remember the days of the double din I can't fit a double din radio or a single piece radio in my dash at all. SOMEtimes I regret not getting the non-navi equipped I35. Your Exceleron looks very nice in the dash.

Luckily JL Audio came out with the Clean Sweep.

I placed an order a week ago. I can't wait until that comes in.

One more question? Do you have two Hazard switch buttons????? What does that button do in-between the vents on top of the dash???

He'd have a hole if that hazard button in the dash piece wasn't there.

You got it Lee. It's from the Taiwan radio bezel kit. That's where the hazard is on the 2000-2001 I30's.

You can wire the top Hazard to an additional Fog lights, or Bass control or NOS? or what ever you name it.

Good luck.

That is unbelievably cool. I would really like one but haven't had any luck. My friend is going to Korea in a couple of weeks, would he be able to find one over there if I had a part #??

For god's sake man, SyCefiro sells them. He even posted his email address 2 posts above so you don't even have to PM him.
