need your help please!
Any issues with the hood? A friend of mind had a similar situation with another vehicle. It took him forever to finger out the hood pin was tringering the alarm. His hood was slightly off though and would allow wind to get up under the hood causing the movement. There's really not much else I can think up, sorry.
This may sound crazy, but I had this problem with my 96 I30. If you have more than one key fob, check it out.
We recently moved and so everything was packed up. When I went out in my car to the store everything worked fine, no problems. BUT, when I would pull up to my new house and park, as soon as I pulled the key out of the ignition, the damn alarm would go off! I tried everything to stop it and the only thing that worked was putting the key back in the ignition!
Finally, I remembered that the OTHER key fob was packed in a box in the kitchen with some books and crap, so I went and looked in there. A freekin' book was pushing down on the panic button on that key fob so when I got within reach of the second key fod's signal, and took my key out of the ignition, the car picked up the signal and set off the alarm!!!
HOW FREEKIN' CRAZY IS THAT!!!!!!! LMAO!
If you find this to be the problem, then I will be amaized, but you knever know.
If nothing else, hope you got a good laugh at my expense. lol
