I know that 96-97 i30's had a different digital climate control panel than 98-99's. My question is wil my 98 style that I'm selling on E-bay work on a 96 Maxima GXE? The 98 style had all of the buttons on the bottom, as opposed to the older style that had the funky looking half circle switches to turn the heat up or down. Also, if anyone has a 96 or 97 maxima w/digital climate control a pic would help me out tremendously. Thanks in advance for any help.

Wont work. Connectors are different and splicing in the proper connectors results in a malfunctioning unit.
