Will the trenz billet grill 95-96 or 97-99 fit into the I30 opening w/o putting on a maxima hood. Has anyone ever tried this, I am guessing the 95-96 would fit better because it is a little smaller. Any suggestions or info

a maxima and I30 grille are totally different. notice how our grilles are attached to the hood where as a maxima's isnt. u can get a cefiro sports grille, a luxury sports grille or make something custom. thats abotu the only options are. i wish someone made a cf hood for our cars =/

 

No, but if you look at both on the maxima and the i30, you would see that the only way to get a maxima grill on an i30 is to put on a maxima hood. You could cut the i30 hood but that would look and fit like complete ****.

 

you still wouldnt be able to because of where the hood latch is, maybe if u converted to a maxima hood and hood latch u could do this if u really wanted to. i vote 100% sports grille. i love the way it looks

 

Your right. You would have to use the maxima hood latch and probably some other crap too. Definately NOT worth the work since the I30 stuff looks better anyways.

i just told u the grilles u could get. sports grille, luxury grille, or do something custom. thats ur only options. personally i like the sports grille the best i think it makes the car still look sporty and luxury at the same time. the luxury grille reminds me too much of a mercedes

 

the one i have on my car is the huge horizontal grill, looks the best IMO

 

It was probably a bad idea, just a thought, want something nobody has on an I30, guess I will keep on looking. Anyone got a better price than 150 on the big luxury grill?
