Best Value Y-Pipe?

I already have a cat back exhaust system and am now considering purchasing a Y-Pipe.

Any org members have reviews or preferences?

What about Headers? Are they worth it in terms of HP gains?

Warpspeed and others claim approximately 20 hp increase with Y-Pipe alone.

Some say Headers don't add much?

Interested to know what you guys have experienced.

Headers don't gain much power and are difficult to install w/o removing the engine. For the y-pipe I would get a warpspeed, cattman, or budget. Other two piece designs just give a spot for a leak and save them money from making two pipes for FED and CALI emissions. I would stay with a one piece for FED cars and make sure the flex section is lined, to prevent "buzz" noise at lower rpms. There are endless threads on y-pipes just look around, just A-Z the threads so it is easy to look through if you don't have search.

Cattman is the best y-pipe in my oppinion. Quality and gains are top notch.

And yes, headers wont have much higher gains on an A32... Well not enough to justify the price. Headers really shine on A33 Cali-specs and 02-04 because it removes all of the precats. The A32's are removed with just a y-pipe.

Call them up and tell them you are with the org and I bet they give you a better deal.

Hey if that guy is still selling the topspeed stainless y-pipe's on E-bay GET ONE! there missing the hardware kit, so they are cheap. I spent $20 on bolts from home depot and gaskets from nissan, I paid $140 for everything including shipping.

I've got Stillen... Probably the best spent $$$ on performance for our cars. (Besides 3.5 swap)
