It doesn't happen every single time, but it happens often.

After starting the car and putting it into Drive, I'll hear a weird "boing" noise as soon as I press the accelerator. It sounds like the noise you hear when you flick those little springy door stoppers behind a door.

I've got an '02 I35 Sport. Any thoughts?

I have an I30 and i do hear that noise too, no idea what it is though, it just started doing it a month ago or so.

is it a hydraulic pssshhh kinfd of sound? If yes, then it is your brakes doing a self test.

That happens to me every time I see a hot girl walking by.

I've never seen a white A33 I30/I35 in person, but damn that looks nice.

n3985 nailed it. It's the ABS self-test that occurs when you first start and move the car.
