All of sudden my car can't go over 2.5K RPM.....

I can only reach up to max of 65 MPH now and have to accerlate very slowly to keep it under 2.5K.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like possibly a bad MAF, and that your car is in limp mode.

 

on the bad MAF

If you know of anyone with a 3.5 Max or infin, try to swap theirs out. Quick and easy way to tell. You can also order the part form Dave B here at substantial savings. Just check the 5th gen forum for his number.
