Service Engine Soon Light

I hope someone can help me here. My light has been on for awhile and the dealer has reset it several times. It is not spitting out a code to where they can nail it down. It is either the O2 sensor or a coil from the looks of it. Has anyone experienced this and what can I expect?

Every once in awhile I will get a hesitation or miss. It happens very briefly and the car runs fine. Gas mileage is still good.

Also is it normal for this car to pull left. My alignment is fine. Weird???

Sam

If it were me, the first order of business would be to sift through the 5th gen stickies. After running codes, go from there. If no codes are present with the CEL on, hmm. Slight miss occasionally could easily point to one or more coils going bad. Slight possibility of the MAF too.

If gas mileage is unchanged, it is a little less likely that one or more O2's are bad, though they can still function and throw a code. I believe there is a test procedure for them, and again I'd point you to the 5th gen stickies for more info.

You have to donate 20 bucks to use the search feature here. It really is worth it based on the info available.

Sup man,
i had the same problem last month, mine was Ignition coils. Went to Auto Zone for free scanner and came back with code P1320 which was Ignition coils, we have 6 coils, it did not say which one, so i changed all. Cost about $450.00 from
everythingnissan.com. Suggest you change your spark plugs too, they had a special $5 for 1 plug, NGK.
You can change coils and plugs yourself or go to mechanic, the ywanted $150.00 so i did it myself.
It wasn't hard to me at all, took me about 2 hours, professional will probably take 45 minutes, but i got the job done.

After that go to Autozone to reset engine light.

Then your done.

I also noticed better gas milage.
