Greetings Infiniti community ... I was wondering if the infiniti I30 armrest is the same as the Nissan Armrest?

Mine has cracked ridicously, and I'm not interested in pay $250 for a replacement

Any info would be appreciated

Go to an upholstery shop and have them make a separate piece out of foam covered with the best matching color leather or vinyl and velcro it to the top where the damage is located. This actually makes for a more comfortable armrest because it's higher.

Or call autogator in Ca and check with them. They have a big inventory of infinities and maximas.

Get a new real leather cover:

http://www.redlinegoods.com/

I think they have .Org discounts. And I *think* someone here with an A33 I30 has one from them (NewLoveI30, maybe?).

Dang, dude! That looks like a little more than a crack. In addition to the other recommendations, keep your eye on eBay. I've seen a few armrests on sale there. If you guys are having that much trouble with the armrest cracking, you may need to keep it protected with some type of leather/vinyl protectant. I use Meg's #40.

Get a real leather one, either from Redline or from the GD. I got mine for like $80.

Definitely place an order with redline. The quality of leather is awesome and I guarantee this will last longer than the crappy vinyl. I actually sent them my factory cover so they could duplicate it and make a line for us A33's.

BTW, I use Lexol for all of my leather care needs.
