Well, I hate to say it, but I'm afraid I may have jacked up my I30 rims. I've noticed over the last month that a thin layer of film is peeling off my rims...some more than others. It doesn't look like curb rash at all.

Are our rims clear-coated? I'm worried that either my tire cleaner may be the reason. Any suggestions? I'd like to just get new rims, but cant quite afford that at the moment.

The center cover on my OEM wheels started to peel about a year ago. But they're my winter wheels so I don't really see a need to replace anything.
