Backed up into a pole today

Backing up today into a parking spot away from ANYBODY to prevent those stupid door dings and scratches. Backing up and I hear a sound like I just got rearended from a mac truck. I immediatley roll forward and get out extremley pissed off. I kinked my muffler tip and theyres a perfect impression of a cement base in my bumper. I'm pretty sure I can buff out the little imperfections but the mufflers gotta go. I'm possibly thinking of a G35 sedan muffler and I don't want to buy one off of ebay. Just gives me another reason to spend money on my car.

aw crap, sorry to hear that happened man. I've got a 5th gen muffler on mine, and I've a y-pipe and b-pipe and it sounds good.

I can get them soon. My car is extremley dirty. I was looking at 5th gen muffler. Hopefully i'll be able to find some video pics of the exhuast. The actual damage is not to bad but I hate looking at my muffler and having the tip crooked.

Definitely get the G muffler over the 5th gen if you can. It will look and probably sound better.

Gotta hate backing into things. I backed into a big planter box at a friends house a couple weeks ago. It was really dark at the time and I expected to see a hole in my bump the next morning. Didnt really do much of anything though, so I guess it's cool.

Yeah same here for what that sounded like I thought I would have permantley messed up my bumper and maybe even my trunk. But I don't like my muffler anyway and i've been meaning to try to find a replacement.
