Rim/tire fit on my 98 i30?

sigh, at the risk of being a total noob..... (I searched)

I'm purchased some 18 X 7.5 ADR +42mm offset.

My question to you all-knowing gods of all things Infiniti....

What is the maximum tire size I can fit w/o rub issues, I have no drop, and I own a 98 130, I'm looking to go larger than a 235/40/18. Think I could push it upto a 235/45/18?

....thanks in advance.

I think the 235/45s should fit. I'm running 245/40/18 on 8 inch wide rims no rubbing on my 98. I briefly had 245/45s on it and they didn't even rub (it's not lowered though)

235/45 will fit just fine.

I'm running with 245/40/18 with no rubbing on stock suspension. I'll see how I do in a couple of months with a 2 inch drop.
