operation no more old-manish i30!!
operation no more old-manish i30!!
sooooo after much deliberation and a wedding and moving into a much more expensive home, it looks like im keeping the high mileage i30 for a while.
its a 97 i30t with VLSD auto and all options i think. only mod so far is OEM 00 max 5 spoke 16" wheels
heres the game plan for the 183,000 mile car! we move into our new place on sept 1 with a nice big 2 car garage for all my tinkering to begin!
-cefiro grill
-one piece cefiros
-new struts/springs or full coilovers (im in between just doing stock tokico blues and tein h-techs or doing tein basics) looking for good ride quality
-new radiator (saw the koyo group buy with samco hoses)
-short ram intake (JWT type)
-want a 98-99 max or i30 steering wheel if thats possible
-ripping out the ****ty bose system in favor of a double-din 7" dvd receiver and components front and rear.
-debaging all the gold trim in favor of silver i30 badging, cefiro badging, or just shaving completely (cant decide)
-chrome guage cluster rings
so anyway theres the game plan. Aside from the high mileage and the regular nicks and chips, the interior is mint and the car is pretty solid.
let the games begin!
i'll post pics of the progress, but that wont be til after the honeymoon (end of september we'll be back)

Hope this helps you visualize how your car may look in the near future. Here are few more pix for your enjoyment:

Have a Cefiro/Maxima SE 98-99 Wood Grain with Leather Steering wheel with Airbag

I can get you One piece headlights either OEM (Clear) or TYC Smoked if you are interested.

They come with Aluminum bracket support as you see in the photo. They are not painted..
Also I have a used Cefiro front bumper.. with good fiberglass or boundle skills.. you can make it look even better than what I have right now..
Email me if you'd like to come by to take a look in NJ
