Help installing side skirts

Hey i was wondering is it easy to install oem side skirts on my 01 i30. Is there a link for a DIY? I know it shouldn't be too hard but I rather do it correctly.

Won't be easy DIY as you have to drill holes into the metal under your doors for the "teeth" on the side skirts.

It won't be easy, at all. You will mess up like I did. The factory skirts come with instructions and a mounting kit. You don't have to follow it exactly though, for example, on the bottom of the skirts just use self tapping screws instead of the plastic guides and screws it wants you to use. That should cut your work in half. Do not use double sided tape. I don't care what ricer forum tells you to, it will fall off and sag. Good luck.

I beg to differ. For those who want to sell their skirts before selling the car using, tape is the only option... I bought some OEM quality double sided tape and was able to get the skirts installed and lined up. No sagging or falling off here... Note> You will need to run tape along the whole length of the skirt and also on the bottom.. This will help support the weight the screws in the front and rear dont hold.. With patience this is a valid alternative to permanently putting holes into the car.
