Cold Air Intake secret surprise...

Hello fellow i30 drivers... if you're like me, when looking for performance mod information you often frequent the 4th gen (or 5th gen) Maxima forums since our cars are so darn similar. If you're like me, you wanted to start small and work your way up with naturally aspirated mods, so you looked at the cold air intake mod and when they said "hole saw" you were immediately turned off from the idea. Well don't fret, because the i30 has a secret surprise that the maxima does not!

If you look at the location of the hole that is recommended to maxima owners, directly under the fusebox under the hood on the driver's side, you will notice there is already a hole there! There is a rubber weatherstrip grommet in it that snaps in, so just pull on it and when it pops out you will have a perfect cold air intake hole, no cutting required!

I haven't seen this info posted anywhere on here so decided to spread the word to those that did not know about this. This is only for the 95-99 A32 i30, I am not sure about other years.

That's mighty handy. I'm jealous. Not that it matters, but... pics? What is diameter of the opening?
