I just got home and pressed the e-brake down. I noticed that it just sunk in and now it will not release. I stepped on it to see if it would budge . . but, it wont release. I live in California, so there isnt any freezing going on. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

did you try taking off the center console and taking a look?

 

I think he has the foot ebrake, but duno if its the 00-01 type or the 02-04 type.

 

Its a 2000. I caught a break and it released this morning. I guess all it needed was a good night's sleep.

 

Oh yeah, it was a foot e-brake.
