I30 with I35 gate shifter? thought it wasn't possible

I have read the posts asking whether this is possible or not. General consensus was it is not possible. I saw an I30 on CL with the I35 console and shifter http://newyork.craigslist.org/stn/cto/1548971255.html

Maybe the tranny was changed? It also has the I35 cluster.

Thought others may be interested.

Could be for real, not sure. The previous owner was definitely an enthusiast. Look at the I35 wheels & grill. Might have had access to an entire parts car, who knows?

That's a wierd car. The fact that he says it has 77,000 miles on it could be false. I was looking into doing the gauge swap when I had my I30, but the mileage couldn't be transferred.

Seats look to have more than 77k worth of wear too.

Mismatched tails FTL. And those projectors retro'd in the headlights suck *****. They look good but have some ****ty output.

What's the point of the gated shifter anyways? Pointless.

IMO, the gated shifter is a nicer look than 00-01 shifter.

Looks like the console (of course), the radio and the vents over the radio have been changed in addition to the cluster. Also, I believe the seats are from an I35.
