99 I30 corner re-wire

Help, I've searched for the how to re-wire the cornering lights so they will be on when the headlights, or fog lights are on, rather than, only when the blinker is on.

I remember there was a mod for the 3rd gen maxima...but the light was not separate from the corner/blinker. So, this would be the light directly adjacent to the fog light on the I30. I did check the write-up for the 4th gen and it really didn't seem like it would work....

Would it be possible to snip the colored wire at the light, and splice power from the fog light? I am planning to do the re-wire mod on the fogs and would like to accomplish both at the same time. For those of you rural drivers, this really helps light up your peripheral view of the ditches, great for spotting those deer or other beasts!

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

I did exactly this with my I and it's exactly as you said it just tap into the wire that powers the foglights.

I had always thought that there was an issue with the cornering lights until the manual actually stated that it was a feature
