How are the Infiniti's lately?

Just curious how everyone in the forums Infiniti's are doing. What state are they in as of now. I've got ours for the weekend and I'm, of course, loving it. It honestly feels like you're in a different world when you are in this thing with the radio turned up and driving. Like I always say, gets me out of my Honda. Not that my Honda is bad or anything, just a change of pace.

205K. Runs, but not in top notch shape. Will do best efforts to keep it running though. No more modifying to it. Really want a stickshift!

Parked, but running. I have a few more months until I can apply for my license again (they revoked that sh*t for THREE YEARS, because my lic. was expired on my first and only DUI).

Only has a couple codes, both for the EVAP. I'm gonna use some compressed air down the line ans clear the codes, and hopefully that'll solve that issue. I might as well do that now, while I can't drive it.

It's been pretty sh!tty, for sure :/

But was only on papers for the first year, finally got my car, got it paid off. Next comes the license.

Then I can finally sit at home and b!tch about how I can't drive anywhere b/c of how expensive gas has gotten. I can't wait

161K Running strong w/o ac at the moment but I just bought another compressor from a member out here. Took me about $1100 over about 3 months though. Also need to fix a dent on my drivers door that was there when I got the car. Looking for some advice on working with bondo actually. I was able to partially push the dent out from the inside but theres still some left over, and it has a couple small scratches over it. Its in a place right near where the door meets the fender. Its not too deep but its kinda creased so I was going to sand it down, fill it with bondo, and repaint. Any ideas or advice?

Runs great i just have "Slip" "ABS" and "traction control off" lights all on because of a bad sensor apparently and my muffler rattles because a 2$ brace keeps breaking but besides that, runs awesome.

122k and no codes. Front suspension needs attention, have all the parts but no time to do myself and no money to pay a mechanic.

Mine runs great. Everything but the alternator and fuel pump have been replaced on it in the 4 and a half years of owning it. 260k on the chassis. Only issue is I scrape everywhere I go.

214k miles on 01, original except alternator, needs a cat converter, and could use some upholstery work on the two front seats but other than that runs fine.

About 150k on the motor. The car had 115k on it when I bought 4 years ago or so. Yeah I drive a lot.

Well, I kind of dumped too much money into the car this year, so thankfully, it's running pretty damn well. I need to replace my muffler (hole), install new front fender liners (torn), get a horn to work in my Sparco steering wheel, and a couple other loose ends, but as a whole, it's doing better than ever. Something like 160k on the chassis, 80k on the motor and about 15k on the trans, 2k on brakes and 4k on suspension. She better keep running for another 5 years or else I'm gonna be p1ssed.

As I posted in a thread, my car decided to throw a P0420 code like a week ago. But I cleared it, and it never came back. TSB I found explains that the ECM may misdiagnose the code, and that it should get a reprogram. But I don't really feel like paying the Infiniti dealer at least an hour labor to just update some software, at least not now since my mom's birthday gifts have taken a bit of my part-time pay this month. I doubt that my car gets any emissions warranty now since its 13 years old with only 41k on the clock.

Hey guys. I new to the forum and I have a 96' I30 with 243k on motor and chasis. Ive had the car for about 2 and a half years and I bought it with 180k. My rear struts have no gas, so Im floppin around over every bump or dip in the road lol. I have a transmission leak from the case(i think :/) but other than that, shes holding up well. Im thinking on Ksport coilovers or Tein S-tech springs with Tokico Illumina struts for the suspension and when I do my 3.5 swap, I plan on putting in the 6spd! but im still learning about the engine and trans swap

Might be worth a try... With that few miles, they might work with you on something. As long as all the other maintenance is perfect and up to date.

I have service records up to like 2010 since the previous owner brought it to the dealer for everything (including a $900 ignition coil replacement). But when I bought it in 2011, I only went to the dealer for parts (like 14 quarts of transmission fluid I never got to run through my car this past summer ). But the only real service the car has needed are oil changes and I replaced one O2 sensor.
