Starting problem with 2000 I30

I have done many searches before posting this trying to find a solution, and have come to a blank so reaching out to you guys for some help. MY car had been running fine until i noticed on startup in the morning i would have to let it warm up for a minute before driving off if not it would drop rpms and bog a little before picking back up as if nothing. Didn't think anything of it just that my car is a little older so I need to let the engine warm up a bit. Now since last week when I go to start the car it starts up very slow motion on the crank for about 5 seconds before starting up. I thought it was the battery but my mechanic said that it would have died by now. After doing some research I found it could be the fuel filter in the gas tank and my mechanic said the same that could be a possibility so i ordered a new one and changed it yesterday. After the install I let it build up pressure and was able to start right up so i figured it was fixed. This morning I go to start my car and bam the same freaking start as before which it started after some slow cranks. Twice it died out so it stayed on the third time and after letting it warm up I go to drive to work and it hardly accelerates. So i turned around and parked it at home.

If anyone has any idea on what it could be please share and thanks in advance!

Just for good measure, spray your crankshaft sensors off with MAF cleaner. They collect grit and dirt and it can affect their performance. Unless your mechanic knows this car well, they tend to miss diagnose things about it. You will get better info here from members. A mechanic told me my rear main seal was bad, but it was my upper oil pan gasket that was leaking. Im not sure this is a fuel problem. No CEL?

Check the ECTS (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor). If this is reporting too high of a temperature, the engine will get too lean of a fuel mixture. A cold engine needs a rich fuel mixture to start and run.
