02 I-35 traction control on or off??
Its been raining here alot, also getting cold/icy weather. So my car has a tcs on/off button that i assume all i35 s have. that feature would be great to use in that type of weather, but my only problem is i dont know when its actually on or off. Turning the key on the bulb is not lit like the rest/ check engine battery lights ect. Im assuming the bulb is out, or maybe a fuse? not a bigg issue but just wondering is the car sopposed to feel heavier if its on vs not on.

There's a button behind your turn signal stalk that turns tcs on/off. It's on by default when you turn the car on. The cars slip light will light up indicating when the tcs actually engages. The slip light will flash it's located on your cluster at the bottom right hand side.

I don't know then. If it doesn't say off on the cluster and no slip light. I guess it could only be one of two things. If you have the tcs button then either both dash bulbs are blown (not likely) or someone replaced a part or a transmission without it. I can't really tell you which parts in all are associated with tcs. I'd imagine it's cv shaft and maybe something in the tranny itself. Maybe something in the tcm and abs system too. Another member may be able to give more info on that. Try posting in 5th gen forum. This forum is dead most infinity guys post in the appropriate nissan generation forum since they're all but same car.

ok i was just wondering when driving through the rain, i forgot the car had traction control, but everything seems to be original on this car for the most part. I dont know if there is a fuse but ill check and see.
