The blower does indeed use a pancake filter (i also have a CAI)

haha OH by the way, i had a sterling mist 4 gen from 2001-2003, identical cosmetically except for the wheel fitment, N/A powered.
joined the maxima game up again in 2007 with this one after toying w 240sx, mr2 turbo, evo 9, 300zx tt, trd s/c camry (that was SLEEPER)

so thats what i mean about 9 years on the .org
