nope...it's clear the community wants MOTQ instead of MOTM. So it's taking a few months off to retool (logo) and forum set up. Look for it to start up in the last quarter in the year.

well we know now. i think i'm going to miss MOTQ...cant wait to see MOTY. i think for MOTY it should be a relisting of cars for everyone wanting to qualify then a poll be made on who should be MOTY...and should be split between generations, nicest maxima for under $XXXXX of dollars, best n/a, best f/i, etc etc...MAYBE...

Well, I'll miss MOTM; MOTQ is less frequency of selected Maxima's, which will mean I have less of a chance . Hell, who knows, MOTQ might actually be better. Change can be good.

 

probably not, the reason for the switch to MOTQ is because members said there werent enough quality cars to MOTM, so by doing individual gens as MOTM you would have even more complaints about the cars not being nice enough.

Think of it this way, having multiple MOTM cars, would be the complete opposite of MOTQ

 

In my opinion I felt MOTM really pushed owners to wanna have there car in quality condition for the next month, but hey, change is change and like always, in society, we adjust. but yea im looking forward to seeing how this plays out

Are current MOTM recipients excluded from consideration for MOTQ?

Just curious if a member can have both logos. That would be quite a thing.

well there were many complaints. so we're trying for MOTQ. let's give MOTQ a chance. if it's that bad then we'll go back to MOTM....but i'm going to give MOTQ a run and see how it goes. most likely i'll have MOTQ for 4th quarter of this year...so stay tuned.

i don't see a problem with not knowing how quarters of a year work. ik 1/4th a year. but are we starting from january?

 

12 months / 4 = 3 months per quarter.

 

January would be the first month of the first quarter, when you start submissions for Q1 MOTQ. At the end of March (or April 1st), you'd pick a winner for Q1.

I can't imagine how it could be any different, but I'm also not running it, so I guess we'll see what happens.
